Visitors engaged with the artwork created by parents in the SATT project art workshops through interactive activities such as jigsaw puzzles. The puzzles were specially created from the artwork to illustrate how, as researchers, we pieced together people’s individual stories to create a bigger picture of the educational experiences of Service children with additional needs and those of their families as they seek to support them to thrive. Attendees included the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defence, the Department for Education, charities, researchers and parents. Parents’ powerful artwork from Strand 3 of the project was exhibited alongside quotations from the art workshop discussions and survey responses. What can we do to relieve some of […] - [FANDF Conference](https://sattproject.org.uk/fandf-conference/): The Forces Additional Needs and Disability Forum (FANDF) is a tri-service group for serving personnel, reservists and their families who have a child or adult immediate family member with an additional need or disability. Supported by SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, FANDF held its first hybrid conference on 2nd June at the Victory Services Club in London, attracting nearly 150 delegates from members of the forum to sector professionals, as well as SSAFA staff.
