Supporting All to Thrive (SATT)
This project investigated the educational opportunities, experiences and outcomes of children with additional learning or support needs and/or disabilities from UK Armed Forces families.
We wanted to understand their educational pathways, experiences and attainment. The project findings are helping to support policymakers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to target resources to ensure they get consistent provision and support. Ultimately the aim is to support all children to thrive.
The project was funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, under the MOD Armed Forces Family Fund Research Grant programme. The research ended in December 2026 and our focus is now on impact and dissemination work.
“The Supporting All to Thrive project has plugged a huge gap in our understanding of the challenges and experiences faced by families with neurodiverse children. I found the artwork and display very moving… So many families facing so many battles to get the support they need.” Written response by attendee at The Association presentation, 9th July, 2026.
