Claire Lee and Alison Cotton presented the SATT project findings on the educational opportunities, experiences and outcomes of Service children with additional needs at the 18th biennial conference of the European Research Group on Military and Society (ERGOMAS) in Aarhus, Denmark, on Tuesday 2nd June, 2026. This was part of the Military Families working group presentations. As part of the conference they also presented their work to members of Interforce, a Danish collaboration that works towards ensuring understanding and building relations between the Danish private and public sectors and the Armed Forces/Civil Defence. Claire, Alison and Vince Connelly had the opportunity to hear from local business leaders and military personnel and discuss the importance of considering children’s needs and experiences as members of society.
